This fast-paced action thriller stars Lee Marvin as a gruff, detestable opportunist who enlists the help of an upper-class Englishman (Roger Moore) to carry out unscrupulous ivory smuggling operations in East Africa during WWI. When the suave Moore falls in love with Lee's beautiful young daughter (Barbara Parkins), the unlikely duo come to blows in the jungle but later reconcile their differences when forced to get their booty past German occupying forces.
