Made-for-TV drama following the family turmoil created by a teenager's eating disorder. Dr Nina Moss (Mare Winningham) has made something of her life, with a successful career as a therapist that has seen her open her own practice. However, her pride and joy is her teenage daughter, Beth (Alison Lohman), who is gifted and considerate. Nina believes that she has a close relationship with her daughter but little does she know that Beth, in the throes of adolescent pressure and self-doubt, has developed bulimia. Will Nina's most trying patient turn out to be her own beloved child?
