This sequel to the raunchy 1980 comedy classic falls a little short of its hilarious predecessor and winds up being a bit too annoyingly slapstick. Not a bad film but it could've been much better especially if much of the talent from the first film had returned here instead of miscasting a bunch of series newcomers. This sequel was aimed at more of a family audience than the adult oriented original and that may be one of the problems. Live action family oriented comedies that cast people who are known for their levels of raunch barely ever really work. Still, some fair laughs are generated in this tale of a snobbish millionaire (Jackie Mason) who figures that he can easily buy a country club but instead he winds up in heated battle with its current management who is not willing to sell it to Mason's terms. His idea is to combine a miniature golf course and amusement park along with their regular golf course
