About the Author

A really interesting read with plenty of giggles to keep it light. Good info that has already helped me change how I think about my eating and exercise. Things I didn't already know! I did lose the two inches (and two kilos) in the two weeks as promised. More motivating and less guilt-inducing than most books. Worth it at the paperback price.

This book has a very good coverage of technical information about how certain foods and emotional conditions can affect our metabolism. Very good reading, have to put it to practice now but it all makes perfect sense. It is written with good humour and some great illustrations to help understand the anatomy of it all. The best diet/health book I have read in a long time. It is more than a diet book, it is a health regeneration book for everyone.

I bought this book on a whim, and am VERY glad I did. It is a really interesting and factual book about why and how we put on weight - and not just the simple answers. It shows the benefits of small changes, how to add exercise (easily) into your daily schedule, what foods assist in weight loss (and which don't!) and other such things. I have read a great many diet books in my time, but found this one to contain info I wasn't aware of, and set out in a funny and interesting way. Great book - highly recommend!
