Not only is she lead detective, she's also a witness-and when the press discovers that her husband owns the theater, there's more media spotlight than either can handle. The only way out is to move fast. Question everyone and everything…and in the meantime, try to tell the difference between the truth-and really good acting…

The "in Death" series is my favourite series of books ever. It has a "bit of everything" and I have just started buying the whole series to re-read at my leisure. I initially refused to read Nora Roberts, and I don't know why, but read "Remember When" which I picked off a returned book trolley at the library and I was hooked! Love ALL her books but this series is my favourite.

Yet another in a long but compelling series. But yet again I wasn't disappointed - the plot is comletely different, and the added bonus that some of the characters besides Dallas and Roarke, take centre stage for their own reasons. Set in a theatre, the "victims" and "suspects" all are very interesting in their own rights and of course, Roarke does own the theatre! Well worth a read.

Absolutely brilliant! This is my favourite J D Robb book to date (and that's really saying something!). The brilliant concept behind this story is that Eve Dallas actually witnesses a murder but still has no idea who committed it (someone substitutes a real knife for a prop knife in a play, so Dallas knows who actually struck the killing blow but not who made the switch, with the latter obviously being the guilty party). Very well written, and keeps you guessing right to the end.
