WHAT A NAUGHTY BIRD!
Sean Taylor is an award-winning author of books for young readers of many different ages. His picture books include Hoot Owl Master of Disguise, It's A Groovy World, Alfredo!, Robot Rumpus, BOING!, When a Monster is Born and Crocodiles are the Best Animals of All! He has also written the Purple Class series of comic adventures set in an urban primary school, a collection of folktales from the Amazon called The Great Snake, and the novel for teenagers A Waste of Good Paper. Over the years he and his family have spent spells living in England (where he was born) and Brazil (where his wife is from).
This bird has the attitude I think all birds have for humans
regarding when they poop, although he takes it too far and is
horrid to many animals. I guessed that the bird would learn his
lesson with the bear, but what happened was unexpected and
hilarious. I doubt the bird will poop on others ever again!
The look of mischief on the bear's face and shock on the bird's
face is one I won't forget for a while. I love the colour and style
of the illustrations which convey more than words can for the
feelings of all injured parties. This is a book to be reread many
times, and is perfect if you need a pick me up.

We spotted this striking cover courtesy of Twitter and we wondered
just how naughty can this bird be?
Then we got our mitts on a copy and found out just how
naughty!!!
Oh boy, they weren't joking!
Meet bird, a very naughty bird, who finds fun in landing a poo on a
great, big elephant's head or splatting a big bull right between
his horns.
In fact, he takes great pleasure in pooing on anyone or indeed,
anything.
But what happens when this naughty little bird meets his match?
With a five-star romping rhyme from the inimitable Sean Taylor and
bold, characterful illustrations from Dan Widdowson, this coupling
cannot fail to amuse any reader.
My six year old was particularly tickled by the birds antics and
found much hilarity in the bear's expression when he was
targeted.
