The poetry and prose in the book flows easily, and is straightforward and without pretense. Which is not to say there isn't anything to be said for complex poems with convoluted structures, grammatical tricks, and hidden meanings. There is. Those can be interesting to read and try to figure out. But sometimes I just want a book of poetry I can read for entertainment and enjoyment. I found that here. - Don Martin

About the Author

Gary Manz is a bright new voice in the world of Hybrid Literature. His insightful poetry has an easy flow and covers topics ranging from general humor to life in general. Readers will especially relate to his outlook on nature, and his unique and often philosophical observations of the world around us. When not writing, you'll often find Gary fishing, reading fiction and the poetry of others, or doing what he loves most other than being next to his wife - driving the countryside and enjoying all its wonders. He lives in the quiet village of Crivitz in the north woods of Wisconsin with his wife Sharon and her sister Susan, and Mekia, their beloved wolf/Shepard mix. Though a poet for over 40 years, he hasn't gone public with his works until recently. He is featured in the anthology Beyond The Sea, released earlier this year, and in the upcoming book Dad, Me, and the 'OL 66' Pete, edited by noted children's author Brian Carlson (expected to be released in Nov 2015).
