This is a superb book on traditional & contemporary Maori values and principles from one of the elder Maori statesmen of this statesmen... Hirini Moko Mead considers a range of tikanga, including the powhiri, tangihanga, as well as lesser known practices such as muru and reciprocity & balance ... this is essential reading for those who wish to better understand the Maori way of life... a superb volume...
