Well written, fast paced, couldn't put it down. Lost sleep. Really enjoyed and have No. 3 on my nightstand ready to roll. If you are a puzzler, you will enjoy.

Robert Galbraith (aka JK Rowling) only has two "Cormoran Strike" books so far and I just happened to read The Silkworm first. It intrigued me enough to look up the first one "The Cuckoo's Call", so it must have had something going for it, even though Cuckoo is superior to Silkworm. Cormoran Strike and his assistant Robin are both well-rounded and likeable characters. In Silkworm, Cormoran is employed to find a missing husband, who turns up brutally murdered, so he goes on to uncover the killer. As "The Cuckoo's Calling" covered the fashion industry, "The Silkworm" delves into the dark recesses of the publishing industry. The cast of characters are somewhat eccentric, jaded and cynical - presumably JK Rowling knows what she's talking about here. JK Rowling is a masterful writer and The Silkworm is a can't put down book. Fortunately this is not the last in the Cormoran Strike books, following the recently published Career of Evil.
