Michael Smith is a retired history professor. Sharon Smith also taught history before becoming a real estate professional. They moved to Rock Barn in 2007 and wanted to learn all they could about their new community and the old rock barn for which it is named. After many interviews and much research, they wrote "Rock Barn: from Fields to Fairways." Profit from the sale of the book will be donated to the Conover library in memory of Jody and Jerry Bullin and in recognition of Jody's Book Club at Rock Barn.
