That's what happens to Katie as she begins her assignment with the transfer team after an abbreviated orientation in Risky Tide: Dolphin Shore Shifters Book 2 by C.J. Matthew. Facing down her fears is not as easy as she thought and, in spite of putting his team at risk, Peal, the leader of the transfer team, is willing to stand by her. Full of compassion for the wild dolphins that switch out with pod members, Katie is a valuable asset to the team, but must earn the respect of the other team members who have recently dealt with turmoil in the parent organization, Save Blue Water. While policing the seas for illegal dumping, some SBW operatives have been compromised and the trouble follows them to the transfer sites in Florida.
