Born and raised in New York, Nathaniel Robert Winters has made Northern California his home. An educator and author, he lives in the Napa Valley with his wife and dog. He is a long-time member of the Sierra Club and the Nature Conservancy. In spite of having Parkinson's disease, Bob writes almost every day.
