About the Author

Andrew McFarlane is an instantly recognisable personality to Australian film, television and theatre audiences. Over three decades on television he has become an icon of the Australian screen, having appeared in some of our most successful programs. His broad ranging appeal has delighted children for almost a decade on Play School. He also played beloved character John Sullivan in The Sullivans and Dr Tom Calaghan in The Flying Doctors, among many other memorable TV appearances. Andrew has also enjoyed a successful voiceover career that has included narrating many audiobooks. Justine Clarke is an Australian actor and singer. She has been acting since the age of seven and has appeared in some of Australia's best-known TV shows. She is also a film and stage actor, and won the Best Actress Award at the Mar del Plata International Film Festival in 2006 for her role in Look Both Ways. A popular children's entertainer and presenter on the landmark children's television program Play School, Clarke has made solo albums and DVDs for children including I Like to Sing, Songs to Make You Smile, Great Big World & the Aria winning A Little Day Out With Justine Clarke. Rhys Muldoon is an Australian actor, writer and director who has worked extensively in film, television, theatre and radio. He is a familiar face on Australian television, having appeared in Grass Roots, The Secret Life of Us, Rake and House Husbands. Rhys has lent his voice to many audiobooks, documentaries, radio plays and poetry readings. He is a regular columnist for various newspapers and magazines, and is a regular public speaker at various artistic, sporting and corporate events. Leah Vandenberg is an Australian actress, who is best known for her role as Anne Cassidy in the comedy series Stupid, Stupid Man. She has appeared in many Australian television series and movies. Vandenburg was born in New Zealand. She studied at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
