This has been a great book to read to my 5 year old daughter. The chapters are short so we can read a chapter before bed and its always left at an exciting climax ....'will they make it in time'. The book contains 3 faraway tree books, which is great value.

This is a lovely story about a group of kids and some very odd friends that they meet that live in a magic tree. They visit many different lands and have many different adventures. I read this to my class and they absolutely loved it. Young kids won't mind the old fashioned names, though I hear a new edition has been released that updates the names (but keeps everything else the same.

This has been an evergreen classic for me since young. I remembered reading these set of 3 books over & over again. Even now, as a middle-age guy, I like to read these whimsical stories again to re-ignite the spark within, when life seems to bog me down.

I grew up reading Enid Blyton and the Magic Faraway Tree series is one of my favourite books. I have endeavoured to ensure that my nephew has started reading it too and like me he has nearly read it through the second time. A must read for children who want to be enticed into the magical world created by the author.
