Great book. Contains a wide variey of designs - quick to make with easy to follow instructions/diagrams. You can create your own jelly rolls/layer cakes/charm squares - a great way of using fabrics in your stash.

My first reading of this book was via our local Quilter's Guild. There are many, really lovely patterns in this book; and the nice think about them you can use alot of your own fabric pieces not just the recommended layer cakes, jelly rolls etc. There is one pattern that will cause a bit of concern. On page 112, the stated size of the strip is 10 1/2". I have found this to be 10" and I crosscut the finished square at 10". The block comes together nicely. You will attain the 10 1/2" measure if you stitch a REALLY SCANT 3/8" seam. I highly recommend this book.

This book isn't as good as the first as I have made almost all of the quilts in it, this book must be for different tastes. I am going to buy the 3rd one as it looks as good as the first
