There is no text in this book - just pictures with a little duck hiding waiting to be found. Its still a bit 'old' to totally engage our 10 month old, but she is happy to flip through the pages. It would be ideal for slightly older children who are building their vocab as there are lots of bits and pieces in each picture. It encourages conversation while reading the book - which is why we have them. ('What else can you see', 'What colour are the shoes' etcetc).
