The 1993 edition of this dictionary was the first of its kind. The last decade has seen many changes in the profession and this is duly reflected in this revised and updated edition. It is an invaluable resource, not only does it supply definitions for well known key terms and recent innovations but it also presents nutshell versions of debates and disagreements in the field and includes selective pertinent terms from the cognate disciplines of psychiatry and psychotherapy, This is an authoritative insight into the language and development of counselling.
