Ian Graham was Founding Director of the Corpus of Maya Hieroglyphic Inscriptions Program at the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology at Harvard University.
The Corpus will be a lasting contribution to the study of the Maya
and will save much of the cultural heritage of Mesoamerica from
sure obliteration. We owe a debt of gratitude to the authors.
