Chelsea was a high school valedictorian at La Canada High School and she attended USC on a merit scholarship. She spent her Junior year in Paris, France, at the prestigious Institute of Political Science and graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a dual degree in International Relations and French. Chelsea began teaching SAT prep for The Princeton Review during her senior year at USC, and expanded to essay tutoring and writing coaching after graduation. She returned to USC for a MFA in screenwriting from USC's School of Cinematic Arts, where she was the recipient of the Mary Pickford, Frank Sinatra, USC Associates and Women in Film scholarships. Chelsea worked in the literary department at Innovative Artists Agency, managing projects from outline to deal. She worked as an acquisitions consultant for Vivendi Entertainment, where she analyzed projects from the buyer's perspective. Chelsea combined her academic education and professional experience to create the College Application Mastery Program (CAMP) curriculum. By adding organizational skills learned from juggling multiple scripts and productions to college test prep and essay coaching, she streamlined her system to train students to create great college applications with minimum stress and maximum individuality.
