"This is the story of one man's journey as a son of immigrants to fulfilling his own dream. Due to his tireless work and dedication and with support from his family he became successful and yet managed to stay true to his roots. At the moment there is much trouble in our inner cities. This book should be in schools to demonstrate to our kids that anything can be achieved, nothing is impossible, no matter what your background, where you are from, or your families financial status. Highly recommended.""Bought for our Son. Read a little. Written with humour, the truth and intelligence from a very young age. A remarkable man.""A very detailed synopsis of the first part of Shaun's life. From school days to his forays into quizzing, this is areal page turner. You feel you need to know what happens next on almost every page. It may be little long for some readers, it is certainly a heavy book for a paperback, but it kept me enthralled throughout. I hope Shaun goes on to complete his life story, as this only covers the first 48 years or so of his life. I thoroughly recommend this book.""A brilliant book! Good encouragement for those in need of motivation to remind that, all is not lost when it feels like it is!. Well recommended."
