Previously, he was an economist with the Canadian federal government. He is also the author of two other books, Outperforming the Market: A Case-Study Approach to Selecting Investments (ECW Press, 1998) and Nortel Networks: How Innovation and Vision Created a Network Giant (John Wiley Sons, 2000).
