About the Author

Justine Summers grew up in New Zealand, and has a degree in Education. After her children were born she started a high-quality children's clothes and toy label, Pipimoomoo. It was out of this venture that the idea for the character of her first book was born. Billy's Digger is her second children's book she has written and illustrated. She lives with her family on an small island outside Nelson, New Zealand and is currently working on her third children's book. Capturing the imaginations of children comes naturally to Justine, she understands but more importantly loves the children's world. Katie BB, 2005
