A writer for the Emmy Award-winning animated series Robot Chicken and co-creator of the stop-motion SuperMansion, Zeb Wells began making a name for himself at Marvel with his irreverent New Warriors limited series, which provided an inspiration for key story threads that would later appear in Civil War; he also wrote the Civil War- Young Avengers & Runaways tie-in. His collaboration with the late Seth Fisher on Fantastic Four/Iron Man- Big in Japan produced one of the 21st century's most charming comics. Wells' other credits include Daredevil- Battlin' Jack Murdock, Venom- Dark Origin, Dark Reign- Elektra and Spider-Man/Doctor Octopus- Year One. He also contributed to the thrice-monthly "Brand New Day" era of Amazing Spider-Man, most notably with the "Shed" storyline; wrote two Carnage limited series; and helped relaunch New Mutants. Wells has returned to the world of the wall-crawler, teaming with the legendary John Romita Jr. for a new volume of Amazing Spider-Man.

Kelly Thompson has a degree in sequential art from the Savannah College of Art & Design and wrote the cult hit Jem and the Holograms for IDW. She published her first graphic novel, Heart in a Box, with Dark Horse in 2015 and has written two novels- Storykiller (2014) and The Girl Who Would Be King (2012). Thompson debuted at Marvel in 2015, co-writing Captain Marvel & the Carol Corps and A-Force. She has since made a name for herself on such books as Hawkeye, West Coast Avengers, Uncanny X-Men, Amazing Spider-Man, Deadpool and the Rogue-and-Gambit-starring Mr. and Mrs. X. Thompson's Black Widow won the 2021 Eisner Award for best new series, and her Infinity Comic collaboration with Gurihiru, It's Jeff! is a delight.

Canadian writer Jed MacKay has built an extensive list of credits at Marvel - including such titles as Edge of Spider-Geddon, Infinity Wars- Ghost Panther, Daughters of the Dragon and Man Without Fear. His career caught fire in 2019 with Black Cat, a character-defining phenomenon. MacKay has built on that success with his highly entertaining take on Taskmaster; a high-profile relaunch of Moon Knight; and Death of Doctor Strange, which led Clea to become the new Sorcerer Supreme in Strange.

Patrick Gleason became a fan favorite artist at DC Comics drawing the company's most famous characters in series such as Green Lantern Corps, Batman and Robin, Superman and Aquaman. Following Marvel credits earlier in his career, his Amazing Spider-Man collaboration with Nick Spencer marked his true arrival at the House of Ideas. Gleason doubled down on his attachment to Spidey, joining the writing team for the "Beyond" era of Amazing Spider-Man.

Sara Pichelli worked in the animation industry as a storyboard artist and character designer before taking a chance in the comics business. After breaking in in her native Italy, she was a layout assistant for David Messina on Star Trek for IDW. In 2008, she was one of the winners of the ChesterQuest International Talent Search and has since worked for Marvel Comics on such titles as NYX, Runaways, Eternals, X-Men- Pixie Strikes Back and Namora. She joined writer Brian Michael Bendis on Ultimate Spider-Man, and together the pair introduced the new Spider-Man, Miles Morales, in the pages of Ultimate Fallout and Ultimate Comics Spider-Man. They continued Miles' adventures in Spider-Man, and paired him with Peter Parker in Spider-Men and Spider-Men II. Pichelli reunited with Bendis on Guardians of the Galaxy.
