This is the story of Marco and Carla, and their friend Sammie. Young children in a town where weird things seem to happen all around them. Carla and Sammie are always dragged on Marco's mad cap adventures, where they are always running for their lives while saving others. The brother, sister duo along with Sammie take on all kinds of adventures in the series and always put on a brave face. In this adventure the children find themselves trying to solve the mystery of why three of Carla's friends have disappeared in the mysterious Forest of Faces. The children venture into the forest to find clues as to what happened to the girls, but find themselves in danger of becoming victims of the forest.
