Abraham Lincoln
A Man of Contradictions (Living in the Land of Cotton Biography)

Rating
Format
Paperback, 48 pages
Published
United States, 1 January 2018

This series is based on primary sources. By that I mean they are books published before "Lincoln's War" and books published going into the 1930s. Much of what you will read are quotes and narratives from these sources. At times, I will interject my thoughts but centered on what the source stated. The desired outcome for this new series is that the reader might be inspired, encouraged and become more proactive for the truths of history.

When studying any branch of history, whether it be world, national, state or local, the student can easily find discrepancies in the composition, based on conflicting accounts or the interpretation of the writer. One of the best examples in this dilemma is found in the areas of biographies. Thus, we come to the man -- Abraham Lincoln.

There must be a paradigm shift in the teaching of "Lincoln's War."
